Eco-Friendly Growing Practices

Our nursery is dedicated to growing completely organic produce. This means that we go beyond the USDA’s definition “organic.” This includes feeding our plants with chicken manure and fish emulsions.

On top of that, our biological controls are safe for the environment. We manage pests through soap and vegetable sprays. This also includes gardening techniques and companion plantings that keep the pests away while leaving other plants and animals unharmed.

Water is a precious resource, and we take measures to ensure no drop is wasted. Our nursery uses a low-volume emitter system that keeps water use to a minimum.
